TREKKING ITENERARY:

DAY 0

HIGHLIGHT: Arrival Lombok

Our driver will pick you up from your location on Lombok Island (Mataram, Senggigi, or Bangsal) and transfer you to the hotel we arrange in Senaru. Upon arrival at the hotel, our team will give you a pre-hiking briefing regarding Mt. Rinjani hiking procedures.

DAY 1

HIGHLIGHT: Mount Rinjani Office – Post 1 (1.300m) – Post 2 (1.500 m) – Post 3 (1.800 m) – Sembalun Crater Rim (2.369 m)

Have breakfast in the hotel at 6 am
Register at Mount Rinjani National Park Office
Start hiking to post 1 (915m) which takes 2 hours. We will walk through the savanna. After that, take a-15-minute-rest at post 1 then continue hiking to post 2 taking up 1 hour
At post 2 (1.500 m), you will take a longer break and have lunch. While having lunch, you will get pampered by the picturesque landscape where the rare black monkeys can be seen
Hike for an hour to get to post 3 (1.800 m)
Take a rest at post 3
Continue hiking a series of hills leading to Sembalun Crater Rim (2.641 m). this would take 3.5 hours
Finally, you will reach Sembalun Crater Rim at 5 pm before sunset.
Enjoy the scenery above the clouds overlooking the majestic Mount Rinjani.
Have dinner and rest.

DAY 2

HIGHLIGHT: Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639 m) – Summit/Top (3.726 m) – Lembah Propok (1.600 m)

Have early breakfast at 2 and start hiking the summit at 3 am
- First stage (moderate hike): this takes 2 hours.
- Second stage (fairly easy hike): this stage includes walking along the trail full of pebbles
- Third stage (difficult and steep): this last stage is challenging which requires more energy and determination.
As you reach the peak of Mount Rinjani (3.726 m), you will get to enjoy the astonishing views of Lombok Island, Segara Anak Lake, Sumbawa, Bali and the surroundings.
After enjoying sunrise on the summit, you will finally return to the campsite
After breakfast, you will hike down to Segara Anak Lake which takes 3 hours
After reaching Segara Anak Lake, you will be served with lunch by the lakeshore before enjoying the hot springs
After enjoying the lake and hot spings, you will continue walking to Propok Campsite (1.600 m) for 2.5 hours in where you will have dinner and sleep for the night
On your way descending the hills, you will get to cross the river that has green tosca color surrounded by mountain ridges.

DAY 3

HIGHLIGHT: Lembah Propok (1.600 m) – Torean Village (600 m)

Wake up in the morning to enjoy the last breakfast amidst the propok valleys resemble those of the Jurassic Park films.
Descend to Torean Village which takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on your speed.
Take a rest while witnessing the beauty of Penimbungan Waterfall.
Have lunch and take a rest at Birisan Nangka (1.101 m)
After having lunch, you will continue walking down to torean Village which takes 2 hours
As you reach Torean Village, we will pick you up and take you to your next destination (Mataram, Senggigi, or Bangsal).
